2024 Dates: July 8th - August 23rd
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (Regular hours)
Extended hours offered for an extra fee from 7:30am - 4:30pm (more details below)

Week 3: 7/22-7/26

Camp Overview
Macedon Recreation is excited to offer another summer of camp for kids ages 5-12 years old! Camp is hosted within Palmyra-Macedon Intermediate School for the first 6 weeks (7/8-8/16) and at Bullis Park in the Back Pavilion for the 7th and final week (8/19-8/23).
Activities, crafts, and games will be offered in-house, including painting, drawing, gym games, board/card games, themed days, tie dye, library days, talent show, movies, and more.
In addition to the in-house activities, we also offer a variety of FIELD TRIPS! Most field trips are an additional charge. More details on cost and how to add field trips to your registration is below.
If you do not register for field trips at the time of registration, we cannot guarantee a spot for your child on that field trip once camp starts. Field trip sizes are limited either by the venue or by available seats on the buses we use to travel
How To Register For Field Trips & Extended Hours
During registration after you click "check out", complete the disclaimer and move past the donation page to get to a screen titled "Suggested Add On Products"
This is where you can select which field trips your child(ren) will be attending. The date for each field trip is listed in the title. Please make sure you only add field trips on days in which your child is already attending camp.
If you wish to purchase Extended Hours, which allows you to drop off your kids at 7:30a instead of 8:00a AND/OR pickup as late as 4:30p instead of 4:00p, you must select each week you need it for.
IF YOU ARE REGISTERING MULTIPLE KIDS: The "Suggested Add On Products" screen will show up for each child. Their name will be listed near the top of the screen.
Field Trips Dates & Info

Unless otherwise noted, most field trips are limited to ~50 campers

7/16 (TUE) Pizza Making At Salvatore's: $10 (max 30 kids)
7/18 (THU) Altitude $22 (1.5 hours jumping time, socks included)
7/23 (TUE) Roseland Water Park: $33
7/25 (THU) Red Wings Baseball Game: $19 (includes lunch)
7/30 (TUE) Clubhouse Fun Center: $25
8/1 (THU) Swimming at Pal-Mac HS Pool: FREE (you still need to register)
8/2 (FRI) Warrior Factory: $16
8/6 (TUE) ROC City Circus: $24 (max 40 kids)
8/8 (THU) Long Acre Farms: $11
8/13 (TUE) Strong Museum of Play: $26
8/15 (THU) Swimming at Pal-Mac HS Pool: FREE (you still need to register)
8/16 (FRI) Inflatables At Camp Day: $10 (required for use of bounce house & slides)
8/20 (TUE) Canandaigua Movie Theater: $17 (includes popcorn & drink)
8/21 (WED) Kayaking On The Canal: FREE (max 16 kids, must be 8 or older)
8/22 (THU) Roseland Bowl: $23 (includes game of bowling, laser tag, & bumper cars)
Payment(s) Due At Registration
We ask that you pay half of the registration fee at the time of registration, and then paying off the remainder of the balance by the start of camp. If you cannot make that payment right away you must reach out to Recreation Director Dale Budziszewski ASAP to set up a different pay schedule.
Field Trips must be paid in full at the time of registration.
